GOD'S FINAL WORDS TO ISRAEL
Malachi issued God's call to return to Him with hearts devoted to true worship. He rebuked God's errant priest and people, without priest to lead them in the knowledge of God and His ways, the people strayed.

Malachi final chapter. The difference between the righteous and arrogant will be in full view. Those who reject God will be consumed by fire leaving nothing. There is no middle ground between the righteous and the wicked. God's people must repent, believe and receive His blessings to escape His just judgment. "Return to Me and I will return to you."

Our world today offers many alluring distractions that lead people away from God and toward self-worship, But God is always pursuing us and calling us to repentance. We are to present ourselves as living sacrifices and give Him our best -- not out of duty or to earn His favour but out of love for Him. As blemished sacrifices ourselves, we ask for God's forgiveness and restoration. Through Jesus's shed blood and the Holy Spirit's power, our meager service and offering become fragrant to God.

God perfect love always motives everything He does for people. How will you lean on His power to strive for excellence in your service to Him ?

The book of Nehemiah opens with a powerful prayer. He recognized God as great, awesome, loving, faithful and accessible. God is our Provider and trusting God leads to bold request and courageous action grounded in His sufficiency and power. People who work for God learn to trust Him for what seems impossible.

Although the temple had been rebuilt and worship reinstituted, Jerusalem's wall, gates, and city remained in ruins. Nehemiah as Governor of Judah, lead God's people to rebuild Jerusalem and the city's wall. Against significant opposition, Nehemiah completed the wall-building project within 52 days.

when we abide in Christ, life will be constantly challenging but eternally rewarding.
God calls His people to seek His will and follow His lead, even when doing so involves difficulties or challenges. This is how believers deny themselves and take up Jesus's cross. What fears do you need to surrender to God to boldly go forward in His power ?

Psalm 23 " The LORD is my Shepherd, I lack nothing. ..... surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
