Over the weekend of Friday 4 September to Sunday 6 September 2026, the Youth in Christ (YIC) Conference was held at Eporo Tower, Melbourne C*D, under the theme “Desert Wisdom in a Modern World.”

HG Bishop Rewis joined the youth during the conference, sharing in this blessed gathering of young adults from across the Diocese.

The weekend included Divine Liturgies, spiritual talks, panel discussions, Bible study, Midnight Praises, fellowship and organised activities, providing the youth with an opportunity to grow together spiritually and strengthen their fellowship in Christ.

We sincerely thank the Reverend Fathers, the YIC Committee, servants and volunteers for their dedication and efforts in organising this blessed conference.

We especially thank Very Rev. Fr Moses St Shenouda for blessing our youth with his presence, spiritual guidance and wise words throughout the conference.

We also extend our sincere thanks to HG Bishop Joseph for blessing the conference and conducting a Q&A session with the youth, sharing his wisdom and pastoral guidance.

May God continue to bless the Youth in Christ ministry, its servants and all the youth of our Diocese, for the glory of His Holy Name.
