The Yarra Eagles Summer Season Camp is just around the corner!

The camp will be coordinated, planned and run by Adrian Tomada, current NBL1 Kilsyth player with support from experienced SEABL/College/Teacher coaches who have been involved in many ESC camps.

📅 Dates: Wednesday 30th September and Thursday 1st October

⏰ Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Check-in from 8:45 AM)

Our ESC Basketball Camp is designed to provide an engaging and action packed basketball experience for players of all skill levels. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to take your game to the next level, our experienced coaches will help you develop your skills, build confidence and enjoy the game in a fun and supportive environment.

🏀 Skill Development: Build your basketball fundamentals, including dribbling, shooting, passing, footwork and game awareness.

🏀 Practice Matches: Put your skills into action through fun, competitive scrimmages and game based activities.

Let’s go Yarra Eagles girls!!!

Big congrats to our u13.02 girls for winning their qualifying final over the weekend and are now straight into the Grand Final on 12 September.

Well done to our u11.01 girls who won their elimination final in what a very intense and close game. Keep working hard girls, you all showed so much determination and grit!

Our u13.01 girls narrowly lost their qualifying final on Saturday so fingers crossed for this coming weekend’s preliminary final 👍

Shout out to our Yarra Eagles U16.02 Boys and Eltham U17.03 Boys who played each other over the weekend, displaying mate-ship and camaraderie throughout the game. Despite some games in this age group being quite intense and challenging, these two teams have always been able to bring out the fun and love for the game. Thanks to both teams for a great season!

🖤 Jin has officially earned his stripes! From learning the ropes to stepping out there as a qualified referee — what an achievement!

💚 Zoe is just getting started, rocking the fresh green shirt and taking her first steps into the world of refereeing.

We love seeing our players and young people grow beyond the court and take on new challenges. Refereeing takes confidence, courage and a whole lot of resilience — and we couldn’t be prouder of you both!

Get ready for the EDJBA 7th Annual Girls Showcase on Saturday 15 August 2026!

For one incredible day, La Trobe Park Sports Stadium and our very own home court Marcellin College will be filled with nothing but girls’ basketball, with 190 teams competing across 8 courts as we celebrate the growth, talent and future of the women’s game.

The EDJBA are also very proud to again support the Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA). Thank you to everyone getting behind these fundraising efforts to help BCNA inform, support, connect and represent Australians affected by breast cancer.
