Following extensive consultations with the Imams from the Australian Fatwa Council, the Grand M***i of Australia, Dr Ibrahim Abu Mohamad wishes to make the following statement regarding the Holy Month of Ramadan 1445H - 2024 for all the Australian states and territories:

The Holy Month of Ramadan for this year ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ“๐‡- ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’ will commence on ๐“๐ฎ๐ž๐ฌ๐๐š๐ฒ, ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ญ๐ก ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐œ๐ก ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’

The first night of the Holy Month of Ramadan and Taraweeh Prayer will be on Monday, 11th of March 2024 after Sunset (After Isha)

May Allah bless this Holy Month for you, your family, the Australian Muslim community and the entire Muslim world and may your worship and fasting be accepted this year. AMEEN

Palestine is the land of the Ambiya, the Ahl al-Bayt, the Sahaba, the 'ulama, and the awliya. It is the land mentioned in the Qur'an and Hadith. It is the land of the four madhabs. It is the land the Prophet ๏ทบ travelled to within a short span of the night. The land Rasulallah ๏ทบ led all the Prophets and Messengers in prayer. The land he ascended to the heavens. It is the land of the children of Nabi Ya'qoub. The land of the 'Asharis and the Maturidis, the land of the Ahl al-Sunna and tradition. The land of mawlid, the land of love, the land of salawat, the land conquered by Sayyiduna 'Umar, liberated by Salah al-Din, and the land which will shall bring forth righteousness until the Last Days.

Rasulallah ๏ทบ said that the best of Allah's people are those who reside in the lands of Shaam and more specifically those who neighbour Masjid al-Aqsa. He said that the Dajjal will not be able to enter this Holy Masjid.

May Allah protect Palestine and the Muslim world, increase its sanctity, multiply its benefit, honour its men, elevate its women, bless its children, fortify its people, raise its rank, strengthen its inhabitants, and grant patience and ease to all the families who lost lives and were injured yesterday.
