On the 3rd, we celebrated Samhain, a time to honour our ancestors, especially those lost in the last year, we also acknowledged the ancestors we don't know but have helped us.

Silver Birch Grove and friends gathered today to celebrate Lughnassdh, to honour Lugh and show our skills. It was a balmy but dull day to begin with, clouds threatened rain although the temperature was warm. We were slow to start our rite thinking and talking about what the day had in store for us. Our rite began and we followed the Core Order of Ritual, honouring the Earth Mother first as always....

Summer Solstice 21/12/25

Silver Birch and Friends gathered today to celebrate Summer Solstice. We arrived in wet conditions, the clouds threatening to dump more rain upon us with the unseasonable weather menacing our set up and through out the rite. We followed the Core Order of Ritual, honouring the Earth Mother, opening the gates and Honouring the Three Kindred. Today Silver Birch Grove and Friends Gathered to celebrate Beltaine. The day was warm with signs of the recent rain apparent, in the Earth and the flow of the river.
