Worship Sunday

This Sunday we lifted our voices in worship, and everything revolved around one truth: faith.

Faith that trusts when we cannot see.
Faith that holds on when answers are not immediate.
Faith that keeps us grounded in God’s promises.

In every song, every prayer, and every moment of surrender, we were reminded that faith is not just something we believe—it is something we live.

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1)

Grateful for a church that keeps pointing us back to Jesus, where faith becomes real, alive, and active in our daily walk.

Nothing Is Random with God | Christmas Message | Micah 5:2 | Pastor Kang

Today’s message, led by Pastor Kang, reminds us of a powerful truth: nothing is random with God.

Through the reading of Micah 5:2, we are reminded that the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem was not a coincidence, but the fulfilment of God’s perfect plan—spoken by the prophets hundreds of years before it happened.

Although Bethlehem was small among the clans of Judah, God chose it as the place where the Ruler of Israel would be born. What may appear accidental from a human perspective is, in reality, God’s divine providence at work.

In this Christmas message, Pastor Kang reflects on:

The prophecy of Jesus’ birth in Bethlehem (Micah 5:2)

God’s sovereignty over history and human decisions

Why Jesus’ birth could not have been anywhere else

Christmas as God’s plan of salvation, not a human event

The good news announced to the shepherds—great joy for all people

The greatest gift we can give to Jesus: sharing the gospel so that no one may perish

Christmas is not our day—it is the Lord’s day.
Jesus was born according to God’s perfect plan, and by that same grace, we are here today—not by chance, but by His will.

Here we share a glimpse of our worship to Jesus from our recent Carol Service at Bentleigh Baptist Church.
It was a meaningful time of praise, reflection, and unity as we remembered the heart of Christmas.

We invite you to sing along with us, to pause and meditate on the truth being proclaimed, and to let your heart be drawn again to Jesus.
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.

With love and passion, we remember that Jesus became man—
to pay the debt for our sins,
to guide us in the way of truth,
and to save us through His perfect sacrifice.
