Apart from the law, God made a way of salvation through Jesus’s shed blood. Justification comes only through Christ’s atoning sacrifice.

God justly brings His wrath against humankind. Jews and Gentiles alike are condemned before Him. No one seeks God; all rebel against Him in thought, word, and deed. All are equally accountable to God.

Paul continued his exposition on human sin by directly speaking to his readers, Jewish believers. No one is without excuse for sin. Mere humans who judge others condemn themselves because they also sin. All people will be judged by God, who bases His judgment on truth.
