Netzer Australia is a Progressive, Zionist, Jewish Youth Movement, which aims to empower, inspire and educate the youth of our community, through youth camps, and weekly educational programs! We are a nonprofit organization run by skilled volunteer youth leaders (madrichim) of university age who have completed intensive leadership training and education. There are weekly programs run in both Melbo

urne and Sydney. The links to their pages are below:

Using informal education, we run a variety of activities that are both fun and intellectually challenging. We aim to empower the youth and encourage them to be active participants in the Progressive community. Netzer is a worldwide movement that is affiliated with the World Union for Progressive Judaism and has branches (sniffim) in twelve countries.

Adelaide outreach was a wonderful experience for all of our bogs, a great time for us all to bond and plan for even greater netzer events in the future. A wonderful way to spend a few days and allows leaders from multiple states to come together and show how when we are together we can make anything possible. Get ready for outreaches all over, we’re coming!

On this Yom Hazikaron we remember the 25,648 fallen soldiers & 5340 victims of terror.

Here are some highlights from our Chinuch (education) seminar with the Bogrim! (Leaders)πŸ“πŸ‘©β€πŸ«

Grounded in kavana (intention), we explored big ideas through meaningful peulot, from Jewish texts and our relationship with God to Tikkun Olam and Reform Judaism in Israel πŸ’βœ¨

We loved learning, reflecting, and growing together, and thinking about how these ideas shape Netzer and the environment we create for our chanichim πŸ’š

We also felt so lucky to hear from Na’ama (Netzer Olami), who shared powerful insights into Progressive Judaism and Reform Zionism in Israel

Such a special few days all together πŸ₯°πŸ€— we can’t wait to bring everything we’ve learnt into the year ahead and onto Winter Camp! πŸ”₯

Wishing you all a meaningful Pesach, surrounded by friends, family, and community and filled with moments of learning, connection, and hope.
