Weekly sisters program

As part of our Mosque Tour Program, our teachers Meryem Aker and Mustafa Demirci welcomed Year 8 students from Huntingtower School and Year 11 students from Scotch College on 28 and 31 July.

On 12 August, we were also pleased to welcome members of Victoria Police and the Australian Federal Police for a Mosque Tour.

These visits provide valuable opportunities to learn, connect and build greater understanding between our mosque and the wider community.

Our Saturday kuran class students recently enjoyed a fantastic archery session at Keysborough mosque, with the team from Archery Ascension joining us for a fun-filled day of learning, laughter, and friendly competition.

It was wonderful to see so many of our children participating, building confidence, developing new skills, and enjoying time together.

Thank you to all of the children who attended and made the day such a success. We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to our generous sponsors for making this event possible. Your support helps us continue creating meaningful experiences for our youth.

We look forward to many more exciting activities together, inshallah.

Every Saturday, our young students come together to learn the Qur’an, build Islamic values, and enjoy a welcoming environment with friends.

Toplumumuzun degerli bireylerinden Gülsen Altay hakkın rahmetine kavuşmuştur. Cenazesi 19 Temmuz Pazar günü saat 11:30’da Keysborough Camide kılınacaktır. Saat 12:30’da Bunurong Frankston Mezarlığı’na defnedilecektir.

Merhume Allah’tan rahmet, kederli ailesine ve sevenlerine sabırlar dileriz.

A dear member of our community, Gülsen Altay has sadly passed away. The funeral prayer will be held on Sunday the 19th of July at 11:30am at Keysborough Mosque. The burial will take place at 12:30pm at Bunurong Memorial Park in Frankston.

We pray for Allah’s mercy upon the deceased and extend our condolences and patience to the grieving family and loved ones.
