Bayside Church is proud to host a special screening of GUILTY on Wednesday, 10 June — a powerful film exploring the final 72 hours of Australian Myuran Sukumaran before his ex*****on in Indonesia in 2015.

This is an important opportunity to reflect on the human impact of capital punishment, and to engage with themes of justice, mercy, and second chances.

The evening will also feature a reflection from Ps Christie Buckingham, who served as Myuran's spiritual director and was present in his final moments. Ps Christie will share her personal experience and perspective on justice, hope, and the profound value of every human life.

All proceeds support the Capital Punishment Justice Project's ongoing work to end capital punishment worldwide.

What if your generosity today could give a community a permanent home for generations to come? 🤍

This Sunday, we're launching our First Fruits offering, a yearly opportunity to give above your regular tithes and offerings towards something bigger than ourselves.

This year, our goal is to purchase land for Bayside Church Zambia, so our family in Lusaka can build a permanent home and continue to grow.

Wondering how much to give? We usually suggest a week of income but this is between you and God. Give more, give less, or simply begin praying about it. We only want you to give what you're willing and able to give with a generous heart.

A note on tax-deductible giving: If you'd like a tax-deductible receipt for your donation, your gift will be directed towards our Bayside Community Care projects. Either way, every dollar makes a difference.

We invite you to take some time this week to prayerfully consider what your First Fruits might look like this year.
