MP Attends Easter Music Devotional

On Sunday 2nd of April, Maroondah Stake hosted its annual Easter Music Devotional at the Wantirna Chapel. The event was attended by over 300 people who, through music, were able to worshipfully remember the events surrounding the atonement of Jesus Christ including his death, burial and resurrection.

In attendance was Mr Nick McGowan MP, a representative of the Victorian Legislative Council for the North-Eastern Metropolitan Region. Following the activity, Nick met with President Grant Logie who is the senior church leader for the North-East region of Melbourne whilst also mingling with other attendees.

It was a wonderful evening of music presented by the Maroondah Stake Choir who will now turn their attention to the upcoming Maroondah Stake conference on May 27-28th

Prophet and President Russell M. Nelson urged the proclamation of peace in Jesus Christ through missionary work, suggested ways to maintain positive spiritual momentum and invited people to forgive someone by Easter.
