У храму Светог Саве у Гринзбороу и ове године смо са радошћу прославили празнике Врбицу и Цвети. Као и сваке године, ово је био леп и благословен дан за нашу парохију, а посебно за нашу децу, која су овом празнику дала посебну лепоту и радост. На вечерњој служби окупио се велики број верника, а храм је био испуњен децом, родитељима и породицама које су дошле да заједно учествују у молитви и прослави ових дивних празника. После службе обављено је освећење врбе, коју су деца са великом радошћу примила. Потом је уследила и литија око храма, која је као и увек била посебно свечана и лепа. Деца су носила врбове гранчице и звончиће, а њихова радост улепшали су ово вече и подсетили све нас на смисао и лепоту овог празника. По завршетку богослужења, сви су се окупили у црквеној сали, где је коло српских сестара “Огњена Марина” припремило послужење за децу и верни народ. У лепој, мирној и породичној атмосфери настављено је дружење, разговор и заједничка радост празника. Хвала Богу што смо се и ове године сабрали у овако великом броју и што су наша деца још једном била у средишту овог празника, онако како и треба да буде. Нека Господ подари здравље, мир и благослов свима, и нека радост ових празничних дана остане у нашим срцима.
Celebration of Lazarus Saturday and Palm Sunday at Saint Sava Church in Greensborough
At Saint Sava Church in Greensborough, we joyfully celebrated Lazarus Saturday and Palm Sunday Lazarus Saturday and Palm Sunday once again this year. As always, it was a beautiful and blessed day for our parish, especially for our children, who brought a special joy and warmth to the celebration of these wonderful feast days. А large number of faithful gathered for the evening service, and the church was filled with children, parents, and families who came together to pray and take part in the celebration. After the service, the blessing of the willow branches took place, which the children received with great joy. This was followed by the procession around the church, which, as always, was especially beautiful and festive. The children carried willow branches and bells, and their smiles and joy made the evening even more special, reminding all of us of the beauty and meaning of this feast. Following the service, everyone gathered in the church hall, where refreshments were prepared for the children and all the faithful. In a warm, peaceful, and family atmosphere, the celebration continued with fellowship, conversation, and shared joy. We thank God that we were able to gather once again in such great numbers, and that our children were once again at the heart of this celebration, just as they should be. May the Lord grant health, peace, and blessings to all, and may the joy of these holy feast days remain in our hearts.
