📢 This Sunday!

11am Service — continuing our Life of David series with "The Kindness of God" (2 Samuel 9), preached by Rev. Jono. David goes looking for someone to show kindness to — and finds Mephibosheth. It's a picture of grace we didn't ask for and don't deserve. Come hear it.

Straight after service — stick around for our Missions Seminar: "Serving as Senders - Caring for Missionaries" with Charissa Mak from OMF. If we're going to send the gospel out into the world, we need to know how to care well for those who go. Bring your church lunch along — we'll be in the Cantonese Main Hall, 1-2pm.

This Sunday, we are back in our "Life of David" series. We're up to one of the significant Bible passages in the entire Bible - 2 Samuel 7 - as Rev. Jono brings a sermon titled "The House That God Built."

Make sure you read ahead and come with a heart ready to hear God speak!

Hello church!

Join us this Sunday at 11am as Rev. Dr. Allan Demond brings us a message titled Deeper, Stronger, Further, from 2 Timothy 3:14-17.

After 30 years serving as pastor at New Hope Baptist Church, Allan is now serving at MST as the Doctor of Ministry Program coordinator and Lecturer in Spiritual and Pastoral Theology. We're so grateful to have him with us this week!

And if you're curious about Jesus and the Christian faith, our annual Christianity Explored course kicks off this Sunday, too! Come along at 1:15pm for lunch, with the first session following at 2:00pm in the Cantonese Hall. Whether you're exploring faith for the first time or just want to dig deeper, everyone's welcome. Morning church!

Quick heads up that this coming Sunday is our annual Youth Sunday! Our REMIX youth are leading parts of the service, so keep an eye (and ear) out for them across worship, prayer, and more today.

Rev. Jono will be continuing our Life of David series. We'll be diving into 2 Samuel 6. The sermon title is a tantalising one: "God: not safe, but good." Make sure you read ahead and pray before you come.

And then, straight after the service, we're having a potluck! When you get to church, make sure you leave the dish you've brought in the kitchen for our hospitality team to get ready. Our potlucks are a great chance to hang around, chat, and get to know some new faces.

So stick around after service — good food, good company!

We’re continuing our “Life of David” sermon series this Sunday as we come to 2 Samuel 1–5 — “New Beginnings”, with Rev. Jono preaching.

📖 A little heads-up: this is a big chunk of Scripture! So, if you can, take some time to read 2 Samuel 1–5 ahead of Sunday. It’ll help you get familiar with the story and engage more deeply with God’s Word as we look at it together.

Dear CCCV LifeSpring fam,

A quick update re parking at Alkira this week.

Alkira's entry gate is currently broken. So the exit gate is the only way in and out. This creates a safety concern. For families walking in and out amid confusing traffic. It also blocks the left-hand turning lane at the intersection, a real inconvenience for our neighbours.

To help manage this:

🚫 We kindly ask parents not to park at Alkira. Please park at the Nunawading Community Hub instead.

🚗 Children's Ministry teachers and helpers have been asked to park at Alkira as they arrive very early, to help free up spots on the street and at the Hub for everyone else.

We're sorry for the inconvenience this causes, and we pray the gate will be fixed soon!

Heya LifeSpring church fam! 👋

Here's what's coming up this Sunday:

We're taking a short break from our "Life of David" series to welcome our very own Enoch Chiu! Enoch serves with Power to Change at Monash University, where he helps students — Christian and non-Christian, local and international — follow Jesus through weekly meetings, Bible studies, and events.

He'll be sharing a message titled "Passing on the Gospel" from 2 Timothy 2:1-10, along with an update on how ministry life is going (especially exciting for us as his sending church!).

Come join us Sunday — it's set to be an encouraging service! 🙌

Sunday Service | "Leave It to God" — 1 Samuel 24
=> At service, we continue our Life of David series. David has Saul's life in his hands — and doesn't take it. What does it look like to trust God with the outcome instead of taking justice into our own hands? Come along and find out.

2pm | Men's Ministry — "Grounded in the Word"
=> Then, after service, the men at LifeSpring will be headed into their final session of Unpacking Our Values for the men's ministry at LifeSpring. We're hoping to finish strong by looking at what it means to be grounded in God's Word — don't miss it.

Hello church!

Here's your heads up for what's to come this Sunday at LifeSpring!

This Sunday, we are back in our series looking at the "Life of David". We'll be covering quite a bit of 1 Samuel (chapters 18-20). So, we encourage you to read ahead to make sure that you're ready to go as Rev. Jono brings us a message titled "Love him or hate him!"

Then, after service, the men of LifeSpring are going to be gathering again at 2pm. Looking at the topic "Living out one's faith". Another one of the key values that we're hoping will mark the men at LifeSpring! All are welcome to join us for that!
