A cheerful giver doesn’t give out of guilt, pressure, or duty—but out of love, joy, faith, and gratitude to GOD. These five marks reveal the kind of giving that pleases GOD and reflects the heart of JESUS CHRIST.

Knowing that GOD does not need your cash, He wants you to be like CHRIST!

Generosity is more than an act—it is a reflection of the heart. The most generous heart in the universe is the heart of GOD. From the beginning of creation to the gift of salvation, GOD has demonstrated His limitless generosity. He is not just a giver; HE is THE GIVER.
Before we can truly live generously as His children, we must first grasp this foundational truth: GOD’s generosity is not just something HE does—it is WHO HE IS. The more we understand His generous character, the more we can live in the overflow of His abundance rather than from our own limited resources.

📖 Colossians 3:5-11
I have been driving my old car for many years, and I believe those of us who have driven old cars know what it is like. I see and experience the problems and issues. I have imagined what it is like to drive a brand-new car. Now, what if you are given a new, powerful, special and luxurious car? I believe we will be totally overjoyed and excited. However, what if we start to drive the new car in an “inappropriate way”. What if we use the wrong fuel because we were used to the “old type” of fuel. This is also very much so for the Christian life where each of us have now a new life in Christ. Are we living out the new life we have or are we still living as nothing has changed? Join us this Sunday, as we continue in our preaching series through the book of Colossians where Paul the apostle reveals to us what living out the new life in Christ looks like – a new life that reflects Christ in us and a blessing to others.

📖 Matthew 6:19-24
We will commonly hear people say that we have limited time, and we have limited resources. Therefore, daily one has to make choices. Some choices are easy to make while others are hard. Some choices are “small (not important)” while others are “big (important)”. Nevertheless, we are to make or are making choices all the time. Why do we choose one thing over another? There can be many reasons but at the heart of the matter, it generally comes down to what a person sees as more important, valuable, easy, likeable etc. What one treasures will have a huge influence on the choice we make in life. The choice we make in life influenced by what we treasure will and does have significant consequences. What do you treasure? What is your heart desire? How do you know what it is? What can you do about it? May Jesus Christ’s teaching found in Matthew 6:19-24 reveal where your heart is and what treasure you are to seek.

We are all familiar with the saying that prayer does not fit us for the greater works; prayer is the greater work.
While JESUS was here on earth, prayer is everything; it’s a duty as well as a privilege, a right as well as a responsibility.
We tend to use prayer as a last resort, but for the Son of GOD, prayer was His first line of defence. We pray when there’s nothing else we can do, but JESUS wants us to pray before we do anything at all.

2024 has passed, and the new year has come. Many people look forward to the new year. The majority wishing that it will be better than the last. Some would come up with new year resolutions wanting to make it so. However, others say it is pointless to do so because we rarely accomplish any of the resolutions. So why bother. The issue is generally not the plan itself. Rather it lies in having the resolve to act on the plan. The life of a Christian is similar. The plan can be to live a life to please Him. Many a Christian can tell you that it is not easy. Some have even faltered. So, what are we to do? “Press on!”, is what Paul the apostle tells us. Come join us this Sunday to hear this charge and be encouraged and enlightened.

As 2024 is about to end, it is easy for us to look back and see times when we “lost it.” We got distracted by the pressures of life and began to make decisions on our own— allowing our EGO (Edging GOD Out) to lead the way instead of letting GOD guide us to a right and blessed path.
The Word of GOD in Proverbs has a prescription that will keep that from many wrong decisions and lead us to the right path.

Come and celebrate with family and friends and know the real reason for this season! Bring a plate to share. See you at WynLife Centre, 208 Ballan Rd, Wyndham Vale. Park after KFC.

Without JESUS, there is no CHRISTmas to celebrate.

No JESUS means no salvation, no forgiveness of sin, no joy, and no hope of eternal life.
No CHRIST = Xmas = misery and sadness.

But to know JESUS means, know salvation, know forgiveness of sin, know joy, and know the hope of eternal life.

To know CHRIST = Merry Christmas!

🎤 Missing the Message
📖 Matthew 2:1-12
Christmas is truly around the corner. Christmas decorations are up; several houses in the neighborhood are lit with Christmas lights at night; Christmas carols are being played in the malls and people are busy preparing for Christmas parties as well as getting gifts. Over the radio, we are told it is the greatest time of the year. It is supposed to be a joyous time, but we do also hear people complaining about how busy, stressful and even costly it is to celebrate Christmas. Amid how the secular world is trying to make Christmas out to be, are we forgetting and/or missing the true meaning of Christmas? Come this Sunday morning and bring along friends and relatives to hear the true message of Christmas. Let us not miss it.
