Beautiful Music Session Night on Monday Night!! Full of excitement and Fun Musical Activities to help each student!

SISDAC MUSIC MINISTRY CENTRAL VIC DIVISION

This week, all students honed their focuses into the principles of the Treble and Bass Clefs and the functionalities of rests and finger placements! We are now moving into sight reading some of our faviourite tunes from the ‘Viiga ma Pese’ Church Hymnal all rewritten by the tutors for basic 2note sight reading rediness.

All are welcome to join! From Members to Non Members!

🎹 Another Fantastic Monday of Music! 🎶

What an incredible evening we had with 8 enthusiastic students filling the room with excitement, laughter, and a genuine passion for learning! Every week it’s inspiring to see everyone grow in confidence, and tonight was no exception.

Today’s lesson focused on Time Signatures and Sight Reading—two essential skills that help every musician become more confident and expressive. It was amazing watching everyone challenge themselves, encourage one another, and celebrate each achievement along the way. The energy in the room was contagious, and seeing smiles on every face reminded us that learning music is not just about playing the right notes—it’s about building friendships, discipline, confidence, and giving glory to God through our talents.

A huge thank you to all of our students for your dedication, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn. We also appreciate everyone who stayed on afterwards for our Mass Choir Practice. Your commitment to serving through music is truly a blessing to our church family.

🎹✨ Another blessed and rewarding evening of piano and music classes!

Tonight was filled with enthusiasm, determination, and a genuine passion for learning. It was inspiring to watch every student challenge themselves, encourage one another, and continue growing in both skill and confidence. Every lesson reminds us that excellence isn’t achieved overnight—it is built one note, one practice session, and one step at a time.

As the old Samoan proverb says, “E sui faiga, ae tumau fa’avae.” Methods may change, but the foundation remains. With a strong foundation of discipline, patience, and commitment, there is no limit to what these musicians can achieve.

Following our piano classes, it was also a blessing to come together for our Mass Choir Practice. Hearing so many voices unite in harmony was a beautiful reminder that music has the power to inspire, strengthen faith, and bring communities together. Whether through the piano or through song, we continue to glorify God by using the gifts He has entrusted to us.

To every student and choir member—thank you for your dedication, your willingness to learn, and the positive spirit you brought tonight. Keep practising, keep believing in yourselves, and remember that every great musician was once a beginner who simply refused to give up.
