History of the Voice Of Christ Full Gospel Church Inc. It all started at 178 Ellsworth Street in San Francisco, California in 1964. A group of prayer warriors led by Ta'afulisia Kalepo (TK) Tilo and his wife Fa'avaina (Ina) Tilo, the Founders of The Voice Of Christ Full Gospel Church Inc., joined by Mother Eva Zacharian and others, held prayer meetings in the upper room of the 178 Ellsworth house.
The Spirit of God would move mightily in those prayer meetings, that people would fall under the power of God. The prayer meetings would last way into the night and early morning hours that soon many more would join the prayer meetings. The prayer meetings would be attended by so many, that they would move the prayer meetings to the garage of the house. After much prayer and seeking the Lord, they decided that they would also hold church services. They cleaned and painted the garage, and then chairs and a pulpit were purchased. The church was dedicated February of 1965, where church services were regularly held, as the Spirit of God moved in the services as He did in those upper room prayer meetings. To make the church gatherings official, they registered the church "The Voice Of Christ Full Gospel Church Incorporated" in the city of Sacramento under the laws of the State of California on October 3rd, 1965. The Reverend TK Tilo and his wife Ina were ordained as Pastors of the fellowship. With that, the church was established, and the beginning of a worldwide organization was birthed in that garage on Ellsworth Street. The church was envisioned to be a church of fishes of many colors. Through dreams and visions, the Lord called Reverend TK Tilo to extend this vision to the islands, and so he and his wife Ina and the children moved to American Samoa in 1967 to open a Voice Of Christ (VOC) church in the village of Aua called "The Lighthouse Temple". From The Lighthouse Temple, the Lord would use Reverend TK Tilo to plant and establish churches in other villages in American Samoa, and in Western Samoa, and in New Zealand, and in Australia, and many other VOC branches in the United States. The Voice Of Christ Full Gospel Church Inc. now is truly a worldwide church organization with over 50 VOC branches covering the West Coast of the United States and extending all the way Down Under in the land of Australia. Along with planting and establishing churches, a vision to build a Bible school became a reality The Lighthouse Bible Training School was formally built and established in Aua, American Samoa in 1982. The first graduating class was in 1984. The Bible school is still enrolling and graduating students today and remains a integral part of The Voice Of Christ to equip and train ministers for the Gospel. God has indeed blessed this church organization since its inception 50 years ago from the humble beginnings of a garage to becoming a world wide blessing to the nations.
