Sharing Day marks the conclusion of our Exile and Return study and the beginning of our break. Glory to God for what He has taught us and what He has done in our lives throughout this study.

Over many months, we have studied rich Old Testament passages and witnessed the return of God’s people to their homeland. The bruised and battered Israelites experienced God’s faithfulness as He steadied them with His prophets, provision, and promises. God’s Word reveals His enduring faithfulness and calls us to faith-filled action.

We pray that you will have a restful break and we will see you refreshed in August for our new study - Romans: From Guilt To Grace.

Through Malachi, God said to Israel, "I have always loved you." He speaks the same words to us today. The book of Malachi is one of the many books in the Bible that magnifies God and His great love for His chosen people, the Israelites. But the fact is, the entire Bible reads as God's book of love for all humanity.

God's love began at creation, flowed forth to Israel, and overflowed to the entire world. Through Jesus, God gave His ultimate and most sacrificial expression of love. You are undeservedly and unconditionally loved by the great, almighty, perfect, holy and one true God. How will you respond to Him today?

Come join us as we discover more about God and His enduring love for humanity at BSF Wantirna DW Wednesdays 10am at Grace Church of Christ, or Thursdays 630pm at Belgrave South Baptist Church. For more information, visit us at https://join.bsfinternational.org/class/112

LESSON 27 - NEHEMIAH 11-13

In this week’s lesson we learn how worship is central to a Christian’s life and how we should always lead back to grateful worship of God.

Nehemiah reminds us that faithfulness requires vigilance, and spiritual growth requires ongoing commitment and the courage to make corrections when we drift.

• Check Your "Walls": Do you regularly evaluate the areas of your life where you've seen growth?

• Celebrate Small Wins: Just as the Israelites celebrated the wall, take time to acknowledge and thank God for the "milestones" in your own life or work.

• Commit Your Work to God: Like Nehemiah’s prayer, strive to do your work "faithfully for the House of God," seeking His approval above human recognition.

Come and join us at BSF Wantirna DW, Wednesdays 10 am at Grace Church of Christ or Thursdays 6.30 pm at Belgrave South Baptist Church.

This week in Nehemiah 9-10, our children in BSF Kids learnt that God's Word helps His people obey.

God's Word reminded the people of the times God had helped them, and yet they had disobeyed God.

God's Word reminded them that God is kind to people even when they disobey Him.

After hearing God's Word, the people told God they were sorry for their disobedience.

The people promised to obey God again.

We welcome all children from 0 - 5 years old at BSF Kids Wantirna. Join us Wednesday, 10am at Grace Church to learn that God's Word helps His people obey. Visit us at www.bsfinternational.org/class/112 or Grace Church for more information.

What are your first thoughts, feelings, and actions when you have successfully accomplished a significant task or reached a monumental goal?

Overcoming nearly every sort of obstacles, the Israelites rallied in unity, faith, and renewed trust in God and one another as they worked to complete the protective wall surrounding their beloved Jerusalem.

God’s Word plays a critical role in reorienting His people’s priorities to know and surrender to Him. With the wall rebuilt and the temple established and funded, the Mosaic law took its rightful place at the center of Jewish life. The law God gave His people defined the foundation for living faithfully before Him.

How does your worship of God and devotion to His Word bring you closer to Him and His people?

Come and join us at BSF Wantirna DW, Wednesdays 10 am at Grace Church of Christ or Thursdays 6:30pm at Belgrave South Baptist Church. Let's learn more about God together!

God is omnipresent, meaning He is present everywhere at all times. He sees everything, both good and evil, in all realms. God is with His children no matter where they are. He protects, guides, and empowers them, working out all things for His glory and their good.

In Nehemiah 4-6:14, we learn that all true work for God will receive opposition, but God is always with and for His people. God will protect and enable the work He has entrusted to His people until it is finished, accomplishing His plan & purposes.

God's people overcome opposition not because they are strong but because God is mighty. Nehemiah gave astounding witness to those around him and to us today. How might the biggest problem you face now be God’s plan for you to show His glory to others?

Join us to study about faithful Nehemiah at BSF Wantirna Church (Wednesday 10am) or BSF Belgrave @ Belgrave South Baptist Church (Thursday 6.30pm), or see https://join.bsfinternational.org/class/112 for more information.
