Have a read on youth priorities in their church life - how will we step up to this?

🌍 Gen Alpha (kids and teens born since 2010) now make up most of the young people in our pews, youth groups, and neighbourhoods. They're growing up shaped by COVID isolation, AI, and a spirituality that's just as "at home" online as it is in church.

This International Youth Day, David Toogood from Pulse unpacks what a 3,000-person Fuller Youth Institute study says actually matters to them: family, home, mentoring, and a hybrid faith life, and what it means for how we show up for them.

Our dedication to ensure inclusiveness of God’s creation and support all who seek Christ’s shelter

The Uniting Church is updating its 𝗖𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 to better support ministry agents in today’s changing contexts.

Following extensive consultation across the Church, the revised Code strengthens guidance around accountability, cultural safety, Safe Church practices, professional boundaries, technology and wellbeing. It also recognises the diverse settings in which ministry takes place and the Church’s commitment to being an intercultural Church.

Scheduled to take effect from 1 January 2027, the revised Code seeks to equip ministry agents to exercise their calling faithfully, safely and with confidence.
