Last Sunday during our sharing service, we asked the question, "where have you lost sight of God?"

I was challenged by this image last Saturday night. That while a game that I (Tim) love so much was going on below, the majesty of God was on full display!
How often we get so focussed on the "game" - life, challenges, whatever it may be - that we forget to look up 👀👆

Hebrews 12 tells us to fix our eyes on Jesus who is the pioneer and perfecter of faith. Whenever we take our eyes off him, it's easy to lose our bearings, to feel out of whack, to get bogged down.

Don't forget to look up!

We look forward to being together again tomorrow - grab a cuppa at 10, service commences around 10:15am.

Happy Father's Day to all the dads, spiritual fathers and father figures today 🙌🙌🙌
We appreciate you and are grateful for who you are and all you do.
Today, we acknowledge everyone's varied experiences of fatherhood and recognise our blessed adoption into God's family.
He is a good, good father! 🙏🙏🙌🙌

Lord, we lift up Nepal 🇳🇵and Tibet to you
Comfort those who mourn
Help those who are involved in search and rescue
Give hope to relatives who have not been able to contact family
We pray other countries would stand with Nepal and Tibet in their time of need
Amen 🙏🙏🙏

On Sunday, we took the opportunity (being half way through the year) to pause and examine where we have allowed our lives to drift.

We asked,
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
24 Point out anything in me that offends you,
and lead me along the path of everlasting life.
(Psalm 139:23-24 New Living Translation)

It was an opportunity to share, pray and reset.
To anchor ourselves back to Jesus:
The Way
The Truth
The Life

Every couple of months on the first Sunday of the month we pass the mic around and share what God has done, is doing and pray for what we hope he will do 🙏🙏
For some, it is the highlight of our being together 🤗😊

Great to hear from a student about the impact of Scripture in her faith and from SRE Teacher, Julie on the joy and challenges of ministering in schools at our inaugural SRE Sunrise Breakfast.
