International Women’s Day was on Sunday, and it’s a good moment to remember just how quietly revolutionary Jesus was in the way He treated women.
In a culture that often pushed women to the margins, Jesus welcomed them as disciples, spoke with them publicly, honoured their faith, defended their dignity, and entrusted them with the first announcement of the resurrection.
Again and again in the Gospels, women are not background characters. Jesus invites them to shape the moment, reveal truth, and prompt action through their courage and faith.
At our church, we want to follow His lead.
We believe women are created in the image of God, filled with the Spirit, and invited into the full breadth of God’s call on their lives — to lead, to serve, to teach, to pastor, to prophesy, and to build the Kingdom.
We’re grateful for the women who shape our church, our families, and our faith.
