“To Obey Is Better Than Sacrifice”
1 Samuel 15:22:
“To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams.”

# We cannot substitute religious activity for surrendered obedience.

John 14:15 “If you love me, keep my commands”

James 1:22 says, “Do not merely listen to the word... Do what it says.”

# Sacrifice gives something to God;
# Obedience gives ourselves to God.

# Sometimes people may question what God has placed in your heart because they cannot yet see what God sees
# Between the dream and its fulfilment came the pit, slavery, false accusation, and prison.
# The pit did not cancel the dream.
# The prison did not cancel the dream.
# The rejection did not cancel the dream.
# The delay did not cancel the dream.

Joseph stood before Pharaoh, was elevated to leadership, and became the man God used to save many lives, including the very brothers who had rejected him.

P.U.S.H
P for Pray before you give up.
Bring resistance to God before reacting emotionally.
U for Understand the obstacle.
Don't just say, “It's impossible.” Ask, “What exactly is stopping me?”
S for Start with what you have.
Sometimes we delay our dream because we keep focusing on what we don’t have.
H for Hold on and keep moving.
Galatians 6:9 says, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
