Since it began in October 1995, New Vine has grown to become a vibrant church in Maryland, the northwest of Newcastle. We have a strong desire to make a difference in our community, city, nation and world by allowing the timeless truths of God’s Word to shape the way we think and live. We believe that following Jesus is the only way to experience life in all its fullness, and are committed to help
ing others discover a personal relationship with Him. To do this we have a bunch of different activities, both in the Church and in the community, that help New Viners share their life and faith with others. Our Sunday services are relaxed, friendly gatherings where people from all ages and stages of life are encouraged and equipped to develop genuine relationships with God and one another. We think church should be fun, which means our music, messages and use of multimedia often puts a smile on people’s faces, but even more importantly puts a joy in their spirit! Children and young people are very important to us, so we are intentional about making sure they feel welcome and catered for at New Vine. We have Children’s Ministry programs at both our Sunday services and a number of other activities during the week to help our children and teens discover and experience God and His plan for their lives.
