Corpus Christi Sunday Procession

06/06/2026

Today we celebrate Corpus Christi, a beautiful reminder of the great gift we receive in the Eucharist.

On this day, we honour Jesus as the Living Bread who comes to nourish, strengthen, and sustain us on our journey of faith. He doesn’t give us something distant or symbolic alone—He gives us Himself, truly present, so that we are never walking alone.

As we receive the Eucharist, we are invited to be renewed in love, unity, and service, becoming what we receive: the Body of Christ for the world. May this feast deepen our gratitude for Jesus, the Living Bread, who feeds our hearts with His enduring presence and peace.

SUPPORTING OUR YOUNG PEOPLE AS WELL AS OUR SVDP COMMUNITY!

Please read the post from our very own Citizens of Christ Youth - Marsden for their upcoming Winter Sleepout and what they are doing to raise awareness for those living with no home in the cold winter nights, and every other night.

🌙 **Youth Winter Sleepout for the Homeless** 🧣❤️

Our Youth Group will soon be taking part in a Winter Sleepout to raise awareness of the challenges faced by those experiencing homelessness, especially during the cold winter months.

We will be working in collaboration with some of our St Francis College staff, alongside our St Vincent de Paul family, to support and strengthen this important community initiative.

We ask for your prayers as our young people spend a night in the cold, growing in compassion, understanding, and solidarity with those who face hardship every day.

We are also collecting donations of non-perishable food items, blankets, clothing, and old toys. These donations will be distributed to those in need within our local community, bringing comfort, support, and hope to individuals and families doing it tough. We will have some baskets/boxes at the entrance of the church.

Thank you for your generosity and prayers as we work together to make a difference in the lives of others.

God bless. 🙏

What a wonderful celebration at the Holy Trinity Vigil Mass last Saturday evening as 19 young people received the Sacrament of Confirmation.

We give thanks for these candidates, their families, sponsors, and all who have supported them on their faith journey. May the Holy Spirit continue to guide, strengthen, and inspire them as they grow in their relationship with Christ and live out their faith each day.

Congratulations to all our newly confirmed!

❣️

One of the greatest blessings God has given us is the gift of these incredible leaders from across our Logan Deanery. Coming together for a debrief and dinner after our ALL-IN Youth Night was a wonderful opportunity to reflect, reconnect, and give thanks for all that God is doing through our ministry.

We continue to pray for all our youth leaders throughout the deanery and across the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane, that the Holy Spirit may guide, strengthen, and inspire them in their mission to serve and lead our young people. 🙏✨

Today, we celebrate the Solemnity of the Holy Trinity — a beautiful reminder of the three Persons in one God: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. While the Trinity is a mystery of our faith, it reveals the perfect relationship of love, unity, and communion at the heart of God.

As Catholics, the Holy Trinity is central to everything we believe and celebrate. From the Sign of the Cross to the Sacraments, we are constantly reminded that we are called into a relationship with the Father, through the Son, and guided by the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Trinity also challenges us to live in unity with one another — to love deeply, forgive freely, and support each other as one family in Christ.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. May the Holy Trinity guide us in faith, strengthen us in love, and unite Your Church in peace and holiness. Help us to reflect Your love in all that we do. Amen.
