The Dangers of the Last Days
You should know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times. For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that!

WHY PROPHESYING REVIVAL IS NOT WORKING.

Firstly, let’s clarify that revival is the fruit of three things
1.History shows that it follows a generous and consistent amount of prayer/ seeking God, and often with tears
2The hearts of the people become desperate and begin expanding (bursting) for more of God
3. Repentance is happening supernaturally, and fruit follows

The traditional Pentecostal idea of revival is that it is all up to God. God pours out His Spirit without measure.

But revival is a heart condition and involves us setting things right.

It is all about the hearts of God’s people getting so fed up and desperate. It’s also about pre-Christians getting super duper over the world and longing for the Kingdom of God.

It is the heart made alive by the release we experience when we fully let go and allow God in.

Let’s instead prophesy heart cleansing and heart healing, and see how that goes in building the right foundations, a culture of a strong revival of the Spirit.
