Christian Community (Uniting Church) We are a group of people who seek to follow Jesus and put our trust in Him.

Manly Uniting Church is connected to the Northern Beaches Uniting Church, a Regional Church on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, Australia. We regularly gather to worship, pray and encourage one another through preaching and teaching from scripture. Various ones from our group undertake all manner of creative and redemptive initiatives in our local community.

Billie has become a familiar little face around The Neighbourhood, often popping into with her lovely mum Kat, who has been part of our community for years through .

Watching families grow and milestones unfold is one of the greatest joys of being part of a community like this.

Such a beautiful Family Sunday in the House of God today.

Today, Rev John shared so meaningfully on what the House of God truly is …not just walls or a building, but a living, breathing community. A place where God dwells within His people. A home marked by love, welcome, grace and belonging.

We were reminded that the House of God is built through each of us …in the way we show up, care for one another, open our hearts and create space for others to feel seen and known.

It’s not something we simply walk into on a Sunday… it’s something we carry with us into our everyday lives.

So grateful for every family, every child, every conversation and every moment shared today.

This is church 🤍

Easter at Manly Uniting was full of joy, laughter, little footsteps and big moments of connection.

Families gathered, kids played, stories were shared …and at the heart of it all, we remembered the hope, love and new life we have in Jesus.

“He is not here; He has risen.” - Luke 24:6

We are grateful for this community, for every face (big and small), and for the reminder that Easter changes everything.

What a gift it is to gather together as church ... across generations, stories and seasons of life.

Children filling the space with joy, families sharing moments, prayers lifted and hearts open.
So grateful for Sundays like these and for a community that walks together in faith and love.

Come this Sunday at our Neighbourhood Church.
A place to gather, connect, sing, pray and simply be — together.

Our Family Sunday Service is open, relaxed and truly family-friendly. Kids are welcome just as they are, laughter is part of it, and there’s space for both noise and quiet moments. Whether church is familiar, something you’re returning to, or completely new, you are so welcome here.

Come early, grab a coffee from our beautiful garden-oasis café Sato, let the kids play, and ease into the morning together before the service.

We gather to share stories, reflect on faith, support one another and build genuine community across generations. Come for the service, stay for the connection — everyone belongs here.

And the real hidden gem? A quiet little garden oasis where you can sit under the trees, soak up the serenity, and forget you’re just moments from the beach.

Good coffee, gentle mornings, and that calm neighbourhood feeling we love so much.

Our prayers and deepest condolences to the Jewish community and others impacted by the tragic loss at Bondi. Our church will open from 4-6pm today to light a candle as a sign of light at a dark time, and for an opportunity to pray.

Advent invites us to pause, listen, and say “yes” to God’s gentle leading.

Our dear friend .handley is hosting a beautiful Advent Retreat for Women — a morning to step out of the rush and reconnect with peace, presence, and purpose.

Inspired by Mary’s courageous “yes,” this retreat weaves story, reflection, meditation, and creativity into a soul-nourishing space for women of all ages.
