This Sunday we will be looking at Chapter 5 of Daniel. This is a famous record of God writing a message on the wall whilst King Belshazzar hosts a wild feast the night before the fall of Babylon.

Whilst this might seem some time ago and a little removed from our situation there is an absolute plethora of things we can learn from this engaging account.

After a busy month of activities and special services today we are delighted to return to a slight more "normal" Sunday, where we can enjoy worshipping our amazing God with one another in a slightly more relaxed context.

This morning we are looking at Daniel chapter 4 and thinking about what King Nebuchadnezzar learns (and what we can learn) from his spectacular fall from grace and eventual restoration.

After the service you are very welcome to join us for morning tea in our hall across Augusta Lane.

At Manly Presbyterian Church we like to think of our annual Jazz service (part of the Manly Jazz Festival) kind of like "open day". All friends, family, neighbours visitors are welcome (of course you are any Sunday too!) to come and see inside one of Manly's most historic and beautiful buildings. Come and appreciate some of the best Jazz musicians at the entire festival, hear what's going on at Manly Presbyterian Church, and take a moment to remember the true source of Hope in our world. All welcome from 9:30am tomorrow morning (20 September 2026) at 56 Raglan St Manly.

This Sunday we are sharing together in the Lord’s Supper. If you are trusting Jesus as your Lord and Saviour you are very welcome to join with us in this sacrament.

We are also continuing our sermon series on the book of Daniel. Looking at chapter 3 and considering why we might persist in our faith even if things are difficult. 🔥
