This Sunday we are continuing our new sermon series on the book of Daniel looking at Daniel 1:8-21. This section contains what many consider to be the key verse of Daniel:

8 But Daniel resolved not to defile himself with the royal food and w**e, and he asked the chief official for permission not to defile himself this way.
NIV (Da 1:8).

We will be thinking about why Daniel chose this specific issue to draw his "line in the sand", and considering if we might be ready or willing to do something similar in regards to taking a stand for our faith.

NEW SERMON SERIES!

This week we begin a new series exploring the Old Testament book of Daniel, where we will discover how God encourages us to trust His Sovereignty over ALL things.

We are also have a few other great things happening this Sunday that we would love to share with you.

This Sunday we are starting our new sermon series on the Book of Daniel.

Over the coming weeks, we'll see how Daniel shows how God is always in control. We'll follow Daniel and his countrymen as they show their faithfullness to God, despite overwhelming pressure not to. Finally, we'll see how Daniel points to Jesus.

Given the absence of so many of the fun things Manly used to have for kids (Movie Theatre, Fun Pier, Waterslides etc) Manly Presbyterian Church is pleased to be in a position to respond to the community need (whilst simultaneously launching a more efficient baptism process). We are delighted that today we can release our 2027 concept plan for community comment.
