Cornerstone Ministry

Cornerstone Ministry is an English Ministry at the Korean Church of Melbourne (KCM).

1998: Start of English ministry led by Rev Woo (9:30 AM service, Malvern)

2002: Moved to MMC (10:00 AM service)

2003: ECF prayer meeting started in April

2006: ECF ministry commenced in February

2008: Rev Robin Yang appointed for ECF ministry in January (ordained in 2010, resigned in 2015 June)

2010: Moved to St Andrew Gardiner to partner with St Andrew community

2011: Friday service moved

to English Contemporary Service on Sunday

2012: ECF grows as a ministry and required modifications made to harmonize with KM

2013: Need for more leaders and pastors for EM arose and considered.

2014: Elders, Rev Yang and Pastors Search Committee formed

and later in the year, EM Steering Committee formed

2015: Rev Yang resignation in June and guest speakers invited for preaching

2016: Joint Nomination Committee formed in March in search for a new pastor

High school Ministry moved to Malvern Church

2017: Pastor Sam Joo was appointed for ECF ministry

2018: Officially changed the name of the ministry from ECF to Cornerstone

On the second Sunday of September, we are inviting you to join our reception. Service will start at 2:30 in the Zion Chapel, with fellowship after. Feel free to bring friends or family members with you. Refreshments will also be provided so don't forget to stay so we can meet you too!

Last Sunday, we all shared that we lack a night of good sleep. So here are a few tips to help you fall asleep this week.

1. Write down what you have to do each day so that you can sleep schedule-free.
2. Breathing exercises can help release stress.
3. Stroking the back of your ear can create a calming sensation.

There are plenty more tips online that can help, too. I hope that everyone can have a good rest, and be ready to inspire others with our God-given gifts.
