Money is one of the most powerful forces in our daily lives. It promises safety, security and certainty. But does it deliver?

So often, when we look to our finances for status and security, a helpful tool quickly turns into a heavy master.

But what happens when we view money through the lens of the gospel?

In this short, two-week series, we are taking an honest look at what the Bible actually says about wealth. We will journey through the pages of Scripture to put money in its proper place in our hearts and lives, while learning from the wisdom of God about handling money with joy and generosity.

Explaining Christianity starts next Wednesday on the 22nd April!

Explaining Christianity is a 5-week course designed to explore these questions and more. Together, we’ll look at life’s true purpose and Jesus: who he is, what he did and what it means for us today.

Each week we’ll have great company, good food, great coffee, a short talk, and plenty of space for discussion and questions.

Everything begins with God. Before there was anything, there was him. Everything we see and experience finds its foundation in the God who made it.

In Genesis 1–11 we encounter the beginning of the story. These opening chapters reveal the beauty of creation, the tragedy of the fall, and the unfolding purpose of God for the world. Join us as we explore these ancient and foundational chapters of the Bible. Together we will rediscover the God who creates, provides, judges, and shows mercy, and see how the beginning helps us make sense of life today.
