Easter Services for St Peters Mallacoota are as follows:

Good Friday - 10.00 AM - St Peter's Mallacoota
Easter Sunday - Sunrise Service - Betka Beach - from 6.30 AM
Easter Sunday - 09.00 AM - St Peter's Mallacoota

All are welcome to celebrate the Risen Christ and all that means for us in a turbulent and uncertain world.

Don't forget Daylight Savings ends on Sunday morning at 2AM. Please also note that the Sunrise Service will not feature a BBQ Breakfast this year but BYO coffee and we will supply the Hot Cross Buns!

For those who are seeking a Catholic Service - the Catholic Community will gather as St Coleman's Mallacoota on Easter Saturday at 12pm - at St Peter's Mallacoota

As we approach Easter, the season of Lent begins with Ash Wednesday on the 18th February. A service will be held at 10.00 am at St Peter's in Mallacoota for all who are interested. Sadly, after almost 8 years here, Rev Jude is moving to a new position as "Coordinator of Ministry Discernment & Training" in the Anglican Diocese of Adelaide. Sunday Feb 8th will be her final Sunday, followed by a community farewell in Mallacoota to Jude & Andy. All welcome.

Today will be a tough one for many in the Parish communities, with hot windy conditions and fire across the lake and several throughout the wider bush area.

In Mallacoota, St Peter’s Opshop will be open 10-1, will be air conditioned and come in for a browse and chat.
St Peter’s church will be open 12-5pm with aircon, cuppa, chat, board games. Even if the power goes out we have a battery so will be open for anyone who just doesn’t want to be alone today.

Cann River, due to the heat the Cann Arts Group have closed the pop up art gallery in St Johns for the day. Stay safe, and the community centre has aircon for those who need a place to go.

Keep an eye on the Vic emergency app, and take care of yourselves and check in on each other.

Updated Christmas service advert to include Catholic Mass, at 12 noon on Christmas Eve. The Catholic Priest will be coming across from Lakes Entrance to take Catholic mass.
I'll be leading the 7pm Christmas Eve & 9am Christmas Day service.

Many are struggling with news of Sunday nights horrific shootings at Bondi Beach. For those who would like to light a candle or pray for peace, St Peter's will be open this Tuesday evening 6-7pm.

Christmas Services at St Peter's Mallacoota, Christmas Eve 7pm, will be an interactive family friendly service where we discover what God may want for Christmas. Christmas Day 9am is still family friendly but slightly more of a normal service and includes communion. All welcome..
