Looking forward to this event at St Mary’s Montville on the 11th of October. If you are in the area, please feel free to come join our service before this event at 8am. The Rangebow Festival has a wide range of events happening around this time so please check out their page for further details.

Step into the magic of Singin’ n Smokin’ - one of Rangebow’s most unforgettable experiences. ✨🎶

Imagine this…
You walk through the doors of the historic St Mary’s Church. The organ begins to rumble through the timber walls. Then Andrea Kirwin’s powerful gospel vocals rise through the space and suddenly the whole room is singing together. 🎵

This isn’t a church service - it’s a soulful, joy-filled gathering of music, atmosphere, connection and shared voices. Expect soaring harmonies, goosebumps and the kind of experience that leaves you feeling connected and completely energised.

With only 70 seats inside this stunning church, this intimate event is already selling fast.

On National Sorry Day, we bring you a prayer written by Larissa Minniecon, our Truth-telling and Reconciliation Missioner.
May our good intentions become genuine action for change.

A Prayer for National Sorry Day – 26th May, 2026

Almighty God,
Whose Son Jesus Christ wept with those who weep and bore upon himself the weight of human sin.
We come before you this day with humble and repentant hearts.
Today we acknowledge the deep wounds inflicted upon our First Nations brothers and sisters of this land –
The children taken from their mother’s arms,
The father returning home to only footprints,
The families scattered across this nation,
The languages that were silenced,
The violence inflicted on the innocence,
The spirits broken by the hand of those who should have shown mercy.

Forgive us, Lord, for the sins of our nation;
For pride that would not listen, for power that did not protect,
For silence that became complicity.

We give thanks for the courage of the Stolen Generations –
For those who survived, who remembered, who spoke,
And who have carried a burden not of their own making.
Grant them, we pray, the deep healing that only you can give.
Stir within us, O God, more than sorrow;
Kindle in our hearts a burning sense of justice, that our sorry may become action, and our words may be made of flesh, spoken in how we live.
Guide the leaders and our citizens of this nation in the paths of truth and reconciliation, that all Australians;

May we walk together on the ancient and sacred ground of this great nation - with honesty, with humility and with hope.
Through Jesus Christ our Lord, who makes all things new. Amen

Tomorrow, Tuesday the 26th of May is National Sorry Day, with the theme ‘From Sorry to Action.’ Please take the time to watch Archbishop Jeremy’s message as it sets the scene and highlights the importance of Reconciliation Week, which begins on the following day, Wednesday the 27th of May.

“…Sorry Day is not only about remembering the past. It’s about the kind of future we’re willing to build together, and this takes action. The theme for Sorry Day this year is ‘From Sorry to Action’, and is a reminder that words alone are never enough — that real apology involves tangib...

Hi everyone! One of the many things that our family loves about Australia is the diversity of the plant and wildlife. Great to see the council working towards building habitats and keeping green spaces. This particular koala habitat falls within our parish, just down the road from St Luke’s, Kenilworth. If you are a local or visiting the area, this would be a great community event to join in with☀️ 🌲 🐨 🌱

Thank you to the crafty pair who spent time making these wonderful gifts to share at our Mother’s Day services yesterday.
It’s not an easy day for some and these thoughtful tokens were a gentle way to connect with others, wherever they may have been at.
Many thanks. ❤️ 🌸 🕊️
