to where it all started. Together, in nature, just like Jesus did it. This was such a special time for our church. During COVID, lockdowns and so much uncertainty, we had community and we had Him 🙏🏼 Despite restrictions and isolation, we did life together: morning Pilates, online cooking tutorials, Zumba, trivia nights and worship. Now THAT is church ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

Meet the team: CAFE QUEEN 💅🏽

What is your least favourite colour and why?
Probably yellow, it looks absolutely terrible on me and i just do not find it aesthetic in any situation.

What is your 'official' role at POF? And why do you do it?
I am in charge of the cafe, meaning I am not only the awesome barista but also all the less cool stuff that comes along with it. I work in a cafe everyday (come check it out ) making coffees and fantastic salads, so it is already something I have a tad bit of skill in. This along with the fact that I love being able to help out and find ways to worship God that aren’t as traditional, means I find working in the cafe a great way to share something with everyone at POF.

What is your favourite thing about POF?
I love how accepting we are. No matter who you are, whether a long time christian or a newbie, no matter what you wear or how often you attend, we welcome everyone. It feels less like a church then one big family. I love how we all hang out and make time for each other not only during church but throughout the week as well. I love that we push boundaries and try our best to be the people and the church that God intended.

Who is your hero?
My grandad. He loved God and everyone he met with his whole heart. He knew how to make you smile no matter how much you didn’t want to. He always knew what to say and how to support you and love you in the way you needed. I strive to be like him and for people to think of me with as much love and admiration as I do when I think of him. I miss him everyday and i’m really thankful i’ll get to see him again one day.

One of our values here at PoF is all about YOU | US | THE CHURCH.

God loved big, and he loved hard. It is important that our community is lead in the same way Jesus lead, by building genuine friendships with people.

Over the next couple of weeks we will be sharing with you some of our values that help guide this community. We truly believe these values are from God, and will ultimately help us lead others home.
