Vale Rev. Diana “Di” Albrecht

It is with deep sadness that we share the news that Rev. Diana “Di” Albrecht passed away this afternoon at approximately 3:30 pm, surrounded by her loving family.

On behalf of the National Church, i would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to Ray, her husband, and to Helen, Susan, Margaret, Peter, and their families. We hold them in our prayers as they grieve the loss of a wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and faithful servant of Christ.

Di was an ordained minister in the Wesleyan Methodist Church and served faithfully over many years in district and local church ministry. This included pastoral ministry in Maryborough, where she served as Assistant Pastor, and later ongoing informal ministry alongside Ray in places such as ThreeSixteen and Gayndah.

Di was warmly loved by those who knew her. She had a generous pastoral heart, an engaging presence, and a deep love for Jesus and His church. Her ministry touched many lives, and we give thanks for the faithful witness, care, and encouragement she offered over many years.
