SUMMARY OF SUNDAYS MESSAGE:
In the sermon Hot Chocolate, Pastor Beau compares the Christian life to a cup of hot chocolate. Even though the chocolate is already in the cup, it settles to the bottom and, unless it is stirred, the drink tastes like nothing more than warm milk. In the same way, every believer already carries genuine faith, spiritual gifts, and the Holy Spirit, but these can become dormant if neglected. Drawing from 2 Timothy 1:5–7, where Second Epistle to Timothy records Paul’s encouragement to Timothy, the message reminds us to “stir up the gift of God” through prayer, worship, fellowship, and stepping out in faith. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.

The sermon emphasises that church gatherings are training grounds where believers are refreshed and equipped to be the salt and light Jesus described in Gospel of Matthew 5:13–14. The real ministry happens outside the church walls—in workplaces, homes, hospitals, and everyday conversations—where a Spirit-filled life naturally overflows onto others. Just as a full cup spills over, a believer who continually seeks God will carry His presence wherever they go. The message concludes by linking this truth to water baptism and Jesus’ command in Gospel of Mark 16:15–16 to go into all the world and preach the gospel, reminding us that Christianity is not passive but a life of active faith, obedience, and spiritual overflow.

MOTHERS DAY MESSAGE SUMMARIES: 🎤
👩🏾🗣️Pastor Deneisha’s encouragement:
God’s Presence and Wisdom for Mothers
Psalm 46:4–7 reminds us that “there is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God,” and that God is in the midst of His people; therefore, they “shall not be moved.” On Mother’s Day, this is a powerful reminder that mothers, fathers, sons, and daughters who belong to God carry His presence, power, and life-giving stream into every part of life. Even when circumstances feel chaotic, uncertain, or overwhelming, God’s people are covered by the blood of Jesus, cleansed, sanctified, and set apart. Because of the cross, our past and present struggles do not define us. As believers, we stand firm on God’s Word, resist the devil, and trust that he must flee, knowing God’s love never fails.

🧔🏻‍♂️🗣️Pastor Beau’s Mothers Day Message : “It’s about time”
The message focused on the value of time. Time is one of the greatest gifts we can give, especially to our mothers and families, because once it is spent, it cannot be recovered. Proverbs 4:1–10 calls us to “get wisdom” and not forsake her, using feminine language to picture wisdom as something to be cherished, nurtured, and embraced. Psalm 90:12 says, “Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom,” and Ecclesiastes 3:1 reminds us that “to everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.” Mothers and parents are called not only to instruct children but to nurture wisdom in them, especially as they grow older. Like Mary, who “kept all these things and pondered them in her heart” in Luke 2:19, mothers understand the sacredness of moments and the importance of cherishing what God is doing.

The good news is that Jesus can redeem the time. Ephesians 5:15–16 tells us to walk wisely, “redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” Through forgiveness, wisdom, honour, and faith, God can restore what has been lost and bring healing into families. Proverbs 31:28 says, “Her children rise up.. (continued in comments)
