This is your invitation to the next Iona West Men’s Breakfast.

Cost: $5 per person

Our guest speaker for September is Rob Rasmussen. You may know Rob from Men’s Breakfast as he comes when he is able. Rob is married with two adult children and will share about himself and his experiences and changes that have taken place in the sugar industry during his working life. Rob has held various roles within the sugar industry in the Mackay area for fifty years, before retiring last year as the Engineering Manager at Marian Mill.
This is a great opportunity for Men to join us in a casual atmosphere, to enjoy fellowship with other men over breakfast and to hear Rob’s story.

The guest speaker for August is Alun Tunnah. Alun has worked as a Science teacher, University lecturer and a school Chaplain. His chat will be about what has changed his thinking about the long debate between Science and Faith and how each of us can move our friends closer to asking the right questions about the meaning of life.
We look forward to you joining us for breakfast to enjoy fellowship with other men over breakfast and to hear Alun’s thought provoking talk.

Iona West Men’s Breakfast is on 7:30am Saturday, 4 July at 7 Brooks Street, West Mackay, cost is $5.

This month Alex Cowan and Jay Thomson will be speaking. Alex is a Social Worker who is often involved in arranging Enduring Power of Attorney (EPOA) for patients and will speak about the importance of having an EPOA and what is involved in arranging one.

Jay will speak about his recent experience arranging his father’s Will and his experience as executor of the Will. We look forward to Men joining us and for any queries or to RSVP please contact Bruce and the team at [email protected]

In support of Health Week in June, our guest speaker is Sinto Francis, a Physiotherapist, with over seven years of health care experience and currently working at Australian Health Professionals. Through his work Sinto has dealt with a diverse range of patient needs and will share some of his knowledge at breakfast.

We look forward to you joining us for breakfast, to enjoy fellowship with other men, and to pick up a few health tips from Sinto.
