🕊️ Can you imagine finding the strength to forgive the unimaginable?

In 2020, the Oatlands tragedy in Sydney broke the heart of the nation. We all watched as the Sakr and Abdallah families faced every parent’s worst nightmare. Now, for the first time in Perth, Bridget Sakr is joining us to share the raw, honest journey of how her family chose a path of peace and radical forgiveness.

This isn’t just a story from the headlines, it is a roadmap for anyone navigating their own "dark night" of grief, loss, or personal struggle. As Bridget says: "Forgiveness isn't about forgetting; it's about healing."

This event has grown into something truly unmissable. We are honored to host an incredible lineup of national and international voices:

✨ Guest of Honor: We are privileged to be joined by Archbishop Emeritus Barry Hickey.
✨ Keynote International Guests: Sister Gaudia Skass and Sister Ancilla from the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy in Poland (the same order as Saint Faustina!).
✨ John Canavan: From Divine Mercy Publications, sharing his powerful testimony of resilience.
✨ Mary Boston: Representing Rachel’s Vineyard with a special announcement.
✨ Rev Peter Abetz: Joining our panel of esteemed speakers.

Whether you are seeking spiritual renewal, practical insights into overcoming trauma, or simply a "treat for the soul," this Saturday is for you.

⚠️ TICKETS ARE LIMITED: We have very few seats left. This is turning out to be a landmark event for Perth, please get your tickets now to avoid missing out.

Finding Light in the Darkness: An Invitation to Hope and Healing in Perth

Life can change in a single heartbeat. For many of us, the weight of grief, the sting of loss, or the burden of past hurts can feel like an impossible mountain to climb. If you have been searching for a way forward through the shadows, we invite you to an event designed to nourish the soul and provide a roadmap toward peace.

This May, Perth will host the Divine Mercy Conference and Gala Dinner, a gathering dedicated to the transformative power of forgiveness and the enduring strength of the human spirit.

A Testimony of Radical Forgiveness
We are deeply honored to welcome Bridget Sakr as our keynote speaker. Bridget’s story is one that has touched hearts across Australia. After the tragic loss of her daughter Veronique and her nieces and nephew in the 2020 Oatlands tragedy in Sydney, Bridget and her family faced a choice that many would find unfathomable.

In her first-ever Perth speaking engagement, Bridget will share how she navigated the depths of unimaginable grief to find a path toward radical forgiveness. Her testimony isn’t just about a single event; it is a profound message of hope for anyone, regardless of their background, who is struggling to find light in the midst of their own "dark night."

Stories of Resilience and Mercy
Bridget is joined by a lineup of speakers who understand the heavy toll of loss and the healing required to move through it.

John Canavan: A national voice on restorative healing, John will share his personal journey following the tragic loss of his daughter, Kathleen Canavan. Kathleen was a vibrant young woman from Victoria whose life was cut short in an ultra-light plane crash at Lake Eildon. John speaks with raw honesty about the reality of losing a child and the spiritual journey that followed.

International Perspectives on Mercy: We are also privileged to host sisters from the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy. Coming from the very source of the Divine Mercy message in Poland, they bring a global perspective on how mercy can act as a soothing balm for a broken world.

Why Attend?
This is not just a conference; it is an experience designed for the community. Whether you are dealing with the recent loss of a loved one, navigating the complexities of long-term grief, or simply seeking a deeper sense of peace in your life, these sessions offer:

Shared Experience: Connect with others who understand the nuances of loss.

Practical Hope: Learn how others have processed trauma without losing their sense of purpose.

Spiritual Renewal: Take a day away from the noise of the world to focus on internal healing.

Join Us in Perth
This is a non-profit event, and we want to ensure as many people as possible can benefit from these powerful testimonies. You can choose to join us for the intensive day sessions, the evening gala, or the full experience.

🌟 From Sight to Insight: Recognising the Risen Lord 🌟

As we journey through this Easter season, we often find ourselves like the disciples on the road to Emmaus, walking with downcast faces, perhaps missing the Lord right beside us.

In today's reflection, we explore why Jesus "vanished" the moment the bread was broken. He was teaching us a profound lesson: He no longer needs to be beside us because He seeks to reign within us through the Eucharist. 🍞✨

Today we also celebrate Saint Expeditus, the patron of urgent causes. Just as the disciples rushed back to Jerusalem "that instant" after recognising Jesus, St. Expeditus reminds us to say "Hodie" (Today!) to God’s grace, crushing the "procrastination of the soul."

Inside this article:
📖 Breaking down the Emmaus Gospel & Acts 2
🕊️ Wisdom from the Diary of St. Faustina on Holy Communion
⏳ The urgency of faith with St. Expeditus
🙏 A special Thanksgiving Prayer to the Heavenly Father

"All the good that is in me is due to Holy Communion. I owe everything to it." (St. Faustina, Diary 1392)

Feeling like you’re rowing against the wind lately? 🌊⚓️

In the middle of 2026, it often feels like we are navigating a world of constant noise and "strong winds", whether that’s the pressure of work, the weight of global uncertainty, or the personal storms we carry in our hearts.

Our latest reflection, "Rowing with Mercy: Finding Stillness in the Storms of 2026," is officially live. It dives into today’s powerful Mass readings, where the disciples find themselves strained at the oars in the dark, only to have Jesus walk across the waves with those life-changing words: "It is I. Do not be afraid."

In this piece, we explore:
✨ How the life of Saint Galdinus, the 12th-century "Archbishop of the Poor," teaches us to balance prayer with radical service.
✨ Saint Faustina’s secret to peace: using the "vessel of trust" to draw from the ocean of Divine Mercy.
✨ Why the "rough seas" of our current year are exactly where God’s mercy is most active.

If you’ve been feeling exhausted or overwhelmed, let this be your reminder that you aren't rowing alone. When we recognise Him in the boat, the shore is closer than it seems.

When the world feels like it's running on empty, where do you find your refill? ⛽️🍞

In 2026, we are facing headlines that can easily lead to despair: a global oil crisis, food shortages, and rising instability. It’s easy to feel like the disciples in today’s Gospel, looking at a massive crowd with only five loaves and two fish, asking, "But what is that among so many?"
Today’s reflection dives deep into the "Architecture of Trust." From the flogged but joyful Apostles in Acts, we explore how God takes our "meager resources" and turns them into an abundance.
In this reflection, you’ll discover:

✨ Why the Apostles left a beating with joy.

✨ How St. Stephen Harding saved a dying monastery through radical trust.

✨ Why Saint Faustina’s "vessel of trust" is the only way to navigate 2026.

✨ A powerful meditation to help you surrender your anxieties to the Father.
Don't just survive the crisis, find the Peace that surpasses all understanding.

✨ ALL OR NOTHING ✨

Today marks a powerful milestone for the Church and for everyone who has been touched by a story of radical transformation. It is the 10th Anniversary of the passing of Servant of God, Sr. Clare Crockett (April 16, 2016).

From a rising star chasing Hollywood fame to a joy-filled sister serving the poor in Ecuador, Sr. Clare’s life was a living masterclass in today’s Gospel. She showed us that when we give God our "All," He turns our "Nothing" into a miracle. 🎸🙏

As we reflect on today’s Mass readings and the wisdom of St. Faustina’s Diary, we are reminded of this life-changing truth:

"God does not call the equipped; He equips the called, especially those who know they are nothing without Him."

Are you settling for "something" when God is asking for "everything"? Whether you are navigating a difficult trial or perhaps even sensing a nudge toward a religious vocation, Sr. Clare’s witness is the spark you need today.

🌸 A Special Invitation Today:
If Sr. Clare has helped you through her story or her intercession, we invite you to honor her memory today. In her spirit of total surrender, make a little sacrifice for Jesus and the Virgin Mary. Whether it is a small act of fast, an extra decade of the Rosary, or a hidden act of charity, give Him your "All" in the small things.

📖 Read our latest article reflecting on the Liturgy, Divine Mercy, and the legacy of Sr. Clare here:

We want to hear from you:
👇 What does "All or Nothing" mean to you in your faith journey today?
👇 Have you ever felt God "equipping" you for something you felt totally unprepared for?

Share this post to honor Sr. Clare’s memory and inspire someone today! 🕊️✨
