Instead, join us for a BBQ lunch at Nuske's, Sheringa (Bring meat & food to share + BYO drinks), then join us at 3pm for a Service in the Anglican Church at Sheringa.

It's nice to have some slightly warmer and damp mornings (hesitant to say that as summer will be here before we know it, but we certainly don't want Jack Frost visiting either).
Grab yourself a cuppa, sit down and have a read, I am sure that there will be something within the newsletter that you may resonate with or that you can learn from.
There is plenty happening, but no Field Day Car Parking this year - enjoy the break! For those all playing sport, we wish you well as you lead up to the finals

Welcome to the new 2026/27 financial year..... my gosh the year is passing quickly!

Sunday week - 12th July, we encourage you to be present as we make the final decision regarding the closure of Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church, Lock. A meeting will be held after our 8.30am Holy Communion Service with Pastor Keller. (After service or morning tea).

I am not sure who is down for reading this Sunday 5/7, but it will be a 9 am Lay Reading Service.

This past weekend was certainly huge with the Zone Conference followed by a meeting between the Cleve & Whyalla Parishes. Reports of all of this are in the newsletter. Apologies that the print is slightly smaller this month to try and fit most things in, but I am sure that you can enlarge it on your computer. Hard copies of the newsletter will be available at the church, and if you want to read any of the reports as a Word doc, just let me know & I can email them through for you.

There is plenty happening around us and we must remain thankful for the wonderful and abundant blessings that are bestowed on us each and every day..... I can't believe it, the sheep are in the shed and dry (they might be a bit hungry by the time they get shorn Thursday & Friday though!!)

May you find some time to sit and reflect as you read the latest June Lock Letter.

This Sunday we have Brian & Elaine Keller here leading worship again, 11 am Holy Communion Servicve, with a pooled lunch to follow, we look forward to seeing as many of you as possible. We are blessed to have the Keller's join us monthly.

There is plenty happening within our church, especially over the coming few months. As I type this up I have also had notification of the NCLS (National Church Life Survey from memory) that is coming our way soon also for individual members to fill out.
