🌿 **Hosanna Celebration at St. Mary’s Malankara (Indian) Orthodox Church, Sunshine Coast** 🌿

St. Mary’s Malankara (Indian) Orthodox Church, Sunshine Coast, prayerfully celebrated the **Hosanna Feast** today with devotion, reverence, and spiritual joy.

The service, led by **Rev. Fr. Mathew K. Mathew**, was a blessed and solemn occasion for our parish community to gather together in prayer and worship as we entered into Holy Week. It was a spiritually enriching time of reflection and fellowship as we commemorated our Lord’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem and offered our praises in unity and faith.

We thank Almighty God for granting us this blessed opportunity to celebrate this holy feast together. May the grace and mercy of our Lord continue to strengthen, guide, and bless us all in the sacred days ahead.

Week 5 Lent Activity – Jesus Feeds Me by Year 9

We are happy to share a Lenten video on “Jesus Feeds Me” presented by our Year 9 Sunday School students.

Well done, boys — you all did an amazing job. Special appreciation to Ryan, Johan, and Tim.

Thank you to the Year 9 teachers for preparing this video, and special thanks to Prince for videography and Mathew for organising the venue for the performance.

Week 4 Lent activity – “Jesus Forgives” 🙏

As part of our Lenten journey, the Year 8 students presented the Week 4 theme, “Jesus Forgives,” through a beautiful skit. We sincerely thank them for their wonderful effort, and we especially appreciate Abraham, Austin, Evan, and Jerrin for their excellent performance.

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to the teacher behind the scenes for the dedication, support, and guidance in helping the students reflect on this meaningful Lenten theme.

Week 3 Lent activity – “Jesus Helps” 🙏

Our Year 6 students beautifully presented the Week 3 Lenten theme, “Jesus Helps.” We are so grateful for the lovely poster they created, and we especially thank Riona, Maria, Behanan, and Abhiya for their hard work and wonderful effort.

We also sincerely thank the teacher who supported and guided the students in understanding this beautiful Lenten message.

📅 2026 Diocesan Calendar Distribution

Last Saturday, our parish members received the 2026 Calendar from the Asia Pacific Diocese of the Malankara (Indian) Orthodox Syrian Church. It was a joyful moment as we gathered together as a parish family and captured this beautiful memory.
