LOCAL GOVERNMENT ELECTIONS ARE AROUND THE CORNER!
And all residents over 18 years old can vote - but 90 percent of our Muslim communities are not aware.
There’s something called the GENERAL MANAGERS ELECTORAL ROLL - & it’s from the local government act of 1993.
Its takes 2 minutes to do and everyone should join in to enrol.
Your vote is your right, responsibility, and Amanah.
Don’t ignore it and don’t underestimate the importance of your voice. Make sure you are enrolled, informed, and ready to vote.
*ONLINE GM enrollment form GLENORCHY ONLY*
If you are 18+ and live in, own or occupy property in the Glenorchy City Council area, you can enrol on the General Manager’s Roll to vote in the Local Government Elections.
*NON CITIZENS CAN VOTE IN LOCAL GOVERNMENT BY ENROLLING IN THE GM ROLL*
