Lindfield Killara Catholic Parish We support each other to grow in faith and create a loving and compassionate community. We are located in northern Sydney in New South Wales, Australia.

Welcome to our parish of Lindfield-Killara with its two churches of Holy Family at Lindfield and Immaculate Heart of Mary at Killara. The greater metropolitan area of Sydney and its hinterland is divided into three separate dioceses and the northern part of Sydney and the Central Coast to its north is the territory of the Diocese of Broken Bay. The Archdiocese of Sydney lies to our south and the Diocese of Parramatta to our west. Our bishop is Most Rev. Anthony Randazzo. Our parish came together in 2010 from the union of two pre-existing parishes - Lindfield (founded 1939) and Killara (founded 1961). In the model we are following however we still retain two distinct (though of course collaborating and cooperating) communities within our single parish structure: the communities gathered around our two parish churches of Immaculate Heart of Mary at Killara and Holy Family of Nazareth at Lindfield. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us last weekend for morning tea after the 10.15am Mass to celebrate Fr Colin’s 70th Birthday.

It was a lovely morning filled with friendship, laughter and good wishes for Fr Colin.

A very special thank you to everyone who signed his birthday card but were unable to be there on the day. Your thoughtful messages and warm wishes meant so much and helped make Fr Colin’s birthday celebration extra special.

🙏 Following the example of St Joseph

St Joseph teaches us that faithful care is often expressed quietly—through steadfast presence, humble service and loving protection.

Inspired by his example, we remember our retired priests who have devoted their lives to serving God and His people. They have celebrated the sacraments, guided us in faith, comforted us in sorrow and shared in our joys.

Now, it is our turn to return the care we received. 💛

Your gift to the St Joseph’s Appeal helps provide accommodation, healthcare and personalised support, ensuring our retired priests can live with dignity, comfort and peace.

Please donate today and keep our retired priests in your prayers.

💛 This Father’s Day, let us remember the Fathers who have always cared for us.

For decades, our priests have walked beside us through life’s most important moments—celebrating our joys, comforting us in sorrow and guiding us in faith.

On Sunday 6 September, we invite you to help return that care. Your gift to the St Joseph’s Appeal will help provide accommodation, healthcare and personalised support for our retired priests, allowing them to live with dignity, comfort and peace.

🙏 Please give generously and keep our retired priests in your prayers.
