SOYGOS is seeking expressions of interest for a special Graduation Dinner to celebrate and honour the Year 12 Graduates of 2026 and their families from our community.

📖 Bible Study & Liturgical Explanations

Have you been thinking about joining one of our Bible Study evenings but haven't had the chance yet? We'd love to welcome you!

Join us this Saturday, 5th September at 6pm (following Vespers) for an evening of fellowship, discussion, and learning as Abouna Nabil continues our series on Bible Study & Liturgical Explanations.

Whether this is your first time attending or you've joined us before, everyone is welcome. These sessions are a wonderful opportunity to ask questions, grow in your understanding of Scripture, and learn more about the beauty and richness of our Holy Church.

🍽️ As always, we will begin with a shared meal together following Vespers. To make the most of our time, we will be aiming to start the learning session promptly at 6:30pm, so we'll wrap up dinner by then and leave the clean-up until afterwards.

Bring your questions, bring a friend, and come along for an enriching evening of faith, learning, and fellowship. We would love to see some new faces there!

Our Syriac Orthodox Church joyfully celebrated the Feast of Saint Malkeh, the patron saint of our shepherd, His Eminence Mor Malatios Malki Malki , the highly respected Patriarchal Vicar of the Syriac Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia and New Zealand.

On this blessed occasion, on behalf of Father Nabil Kaplo, all our reverend priests, the members of st. Ephraim cathedral Council, and all of our blessed community, we extend our heartfelt and sincere congratulations to His Eminence, praying that our Lord Jesus Christ may preserve him, bless his ministry and every step he takes, grant him strength and grace, and bless him with many years of faithful service to the people of Christ.

We likewise extend our sincere congratulations and warmest wishes to Father Nabil, all our reverend priests, and all fathers on the occasion of Father’s Day. May the Lord bless them abundantly, grant them continued happiness, good health, success, strength, and many blessed years in His service and in the service of their families and communities.
