St. Ephraim cathedral regrettably informs you that “ Fahim Alkesmatti “ has passed away . The late Fahim Alkesmatti” was a husband of Nidda Alkestoma.

The 40-day memorial service for the late (Dolly Mounyerji) will be held on Sunday, 7 June 2026, during the morning Divine Liturgy at 9:30 a.m. Condolences will be accepted in the church hall, and a mercy meal will be offered for the repose of her soul. May God comfort the family of the deceased and grant her eternal rest in His heavenly kingdom.

On this morning of May 31, 2026, our church joyfully celebrated the Feast of Pentecost, commemorating the Descent of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Qurobo was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Joseph Elia, priest of St. Gabriel Church in Sweden .

On this blessed occasion, we extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to our diocesan shepherd, His Eminence Mor Malatius Malki Malki, and to our beloved clergy: Rev. Fr. Joseph Elia, Rev. Fr. Zaki, Rev. Fr. George, and the diocesan priest Rev. Fr. Nabil Qablo, as well as to all the faithful of our parish.

We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to Rev. Fr. Joseph Elia for his ministry and service today and in the days ahead. We wish him a pleasant and blessed stay among his family and friends in Sydney, and pray that God may continue to bless him and grant him good health and strength in his service.

Just a reminder that there will be only one morning Mass tomorrow, Sunday, 31 May 2026 at 9:30am . There will be no evening Mass

Our Church will celebrate the Feast of the Descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles (Pentecost) next Sunday, 31/5/2026, at 9:30 a.m. The prayers will begin at 8:30 a.m., followed by the offering of the Divine Liturgy at 9:30 a.m.

As this feast includes a special liturgical rite according to the traditions of our Syriac Orthodox Church, there will be only one Divine Liturgy on this blessed day.

We warmly invite everyone to participate in this holy occasion and receive its blessings.

وبما أن هذا العيد يتضمن طقسًا ليتورجيًا خاصًا بحسب تقاليد كنيستنا السريانية الأرثوذكسية، فسيُقام قداس إلهي واحد فقط في هذا اليوم المبارك
