Today the first burial took place at Janat-e-Zahra cemetery at Pinegrove Memorial Park Minchinbury.

This cemetery is part of 5 cemeteries across Sydney, Newcastle and Wollongong ensuring close proximity for loved ones to visit.

𝗠𝗮𝗷𝗹𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗵𝘂𝗺 𝗦𝘆𝗲𝗱 𝗭𝗶𝗮 𝘂𝗹-𝗛𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗿𝘆

Marhum Syed Zia, passed away this morning, Monday 17th March 2025 at Blacktown hospital after suffering from an illness for the past couple of years. As always when you met “uncle” he was smiling and grateful. Always asking about others even though he was battling his medical condition.

He beautiful manner, smile and kind words will always be remembered at Imam Hasan Centre as he was part of the centre.

Burial will be at 11.00am Tuesday 18th March, 2025 at Castlebrook Cemetery, Rouse Hill NSW – Paradise of Zahra section.

On behalf of the family, we request your attendance on Tuesday 18th March, 2025 at Imam Hasan Centre, starting with Maghrib prayers, followed by iftar and a majlis to commemorate the passing of our dear “uncle” Marhum Syed Zia ul-Hasan Jaffry.

Please remember Marhum Syed Zia ul-Hasan in your duas and pray that Allah may grant him an exalted place in Jannah, and sabr-e-jameel to the family members.

Thank you to the volunteers who helped to make it possible to have 2 funeral today. One at Rouse Hill in the morning and one at Leppington in the afternoon.

With many of the usual volunteers away or overseas it was great to see new faces step in to help.
