We welcome a New Moon and the shift of Uranus into Ta**us on the same day this month. The questions you are going to be asking yourself are - How secure do I feel in my life right now? and if everything were to flip on a dime what would that mean for me? does the whole house come tumbling down, or do I feel rooted and able to bend in the breeze? How can I build my emotional stamina to be prepared for all eventualities and outcomes right now? What is my internal support system and how can I become more aligned to my inner light?
We often find our security and stability through external circumstances, but these things are transient. If we become to reliant upon them we miss harnessing the true power that resides within. It is our inner strength, our resilience and our tenacious ability to find a sense of security no matter the speed of any unsettling moving parts that surround us. This is what this New Moon is really asking us to acknowledge. It's just when we start to feel comfortable that those unexpected seismic shifts occur in our life and force us to reassess and turn our gaze inwards to find our still quiet centre amidst the outside noise. The sensation of the ground moving beneath us may feel uneasy but it leads to positive and powerful new discoveries, in ourselves and the world as we perceive it. It can bring a sense of liberation, one that we may not even have felt we needed until it is thrust upon us!
There are some golden opportunities presenting themselves to you this month, but how fixed are you to your current vision? Uranus may force you to disrupt your own behaviour to the point of feeling exposed or out on a limb, but it also yields fertile ground to bring productive and progressive change. Ready for a revolution? You can rise up if you're ready to let go of the sight of the shore.Where Ta**us usually has us working diligently to sew the seeds and cultivate our resources to bring solid foundations, you might find this dark moon has a little more surprises in store and you will be forced to make more sudden decisions and take direct and swift action to regain your balance. If you feel in control you may be reminded that you're not quite as stable as you think. This is not set to derail your positive flow, rather to help shake up and transform any illusionary ideas you still hold as gospel.
You may well receive some unexpected help around material resources, or find you have an inspired idea that could be a game changer in how you can strengthen your own security and allow yourself to be more open and receptive to a flow of abundance. Rapid change is likely under these energies. If you're setting New Moon intentions be prepared for outcomes in a matter of hours rather than days, weeks and months. Will you get what you asked for? perhaps with a twist. Keep focused on what is for your highest good. This energy will throw up all sorts of questions for you. The answers are set to reveal themselves with startling clarity as we move through 2018.
