With so much darkness in our world, it’s easy to feel the urge to strike back: to meet harshness with harshness, or to fight fire with fire. But the moment we choose that path, we allow the very evil we resist to take root in our own hearts.
Jesus invites us to a different kind of strength: the courage to be persistently good. Not merely to keep the peace, but to make peace. To let our hearts, our words, and our actions reflect the God who dwells within us. And even when the world offers no calm, the soul that chooses goodness will always find peace within.
This Christmas season, as the world speaks of joy and love, may we become living signs of that love. Let us offer patience when impatience rises, gentleness when tension grows, and mercy when hurt feels easier. 🌟
