On Sunday we were blessed to have Steve Scrimgeour from Compassion with us, who unpacked a powerful message from Matthew on the blueprint for fruitful mission: to love the least is to love Jesus.

We were reminded that true mission flows from selfless love ~ a love that looks like Jesus. Even in His greatest moment of meekness, the cross, God was bringing about the greatest inheritance: His Kingdom coming and the new creation beginning. 🙌🏼💕

We loved seeing our coffee team in action and our teams praying over one another ~ such a beautiful picture of loving and serving one another! ❤️

August is our Missions Month. 🙌🏼🌍

Hearing from Destiny Rescue on Sunday opened our eyes to both the hope and brokenness around the world, reminding us that mission isn’t just about going somewhere else - it’s about seeing the world around us through the heart of Jesus and asking, “What is God asking me to do?”

Missions starts right where we are 👈🏼

Oswald Chambers said, “Ministering as opportunity surrounds us doesn’t mean choosing our surroundings; it means ministering wherever God places us.”

Let’s be fishers of people ~ starting in our own boat, stepping into the deep, and looking beyond our nets. Beyond what is comfortable. Beyond what is familiar. Beyond what we can see.

May He give us eyes to see, hearts to care, and courage to go wherever He places us. 👟🥾🩴🥿👞
