Our local Pine Rivers community has faced an incredibly tough year.
Widespread unemployment and ongoing financial instability have placed immense pressure on individuals and families. Long‑standing challenges such as homelessness and domestic and family violence have intensified for many people, with so many seeking help for the very first time are reaching out for support.
Every week, the need is growing and we are at a time when support is needed most, funding is harder to come by.
That’s why we need your help.!!
The Impact of Your Support over the past 12 months, our incredible Pine Rivers team has stepped up in incredible ways:
Each week we provide 200+ meals including breakfast, lunch and dinners. That's over 9000 meals a year.
3,900+ food parcels and supplies provided
1,050+ shower and toiletry supports, plus 580+ laundry supports
1,750+ people supported with advocacy and advice, and 720+ specialist referrals
900+ people assisted with accommodation and domestic violence related needs support and advocacy
5000+ quality coffees & hot drinks served through our Connect Café and trainee baristas on site.
720 hours of support by our Community Engagement Worker
380+ hours of support delivered by our Youth and Family Worker
360 + hours of support by our Doorwase Complex Case Worker
700+ hours support by our Moneycare team, casework and financial literacy training
Countless young people supported through Drive for Life, contributing to a huge number of driving hours.
Across all our services, programs, and community activities, we estimate over 20,000 people came through our doors last year and continues along the same trend for this year.
Behind every number is a person, a story, and a moment where hope was restored.
