This year, we’re excited to welcome Carmelina as our guest speaker…

Carmelina and her husband Jeff have been in ministry together at Chatswood Presbyterian Church in Sydney, for almost 25 years. Carmi is the Dean of Women at Christ College, where she runs the Ministry Training for Women course and heads up the pastoral care of female students and candidates wives.

One of the highlights of Carmi’s week is the women’s Bible study ministry on Wednesday mornings where she loves to see God’s word bring women into the kingdom and grow them in their faith in Christ.

Another great aspect of our weekend together is getting to hear from our missionaries who happen to be back on home assignment... This year it's the amazing Ruth Davies :D

Here's a little bit about what she's up to...

Ruth is serving in Ayutthaya, a province in central Thailand where less than 0.05% of the population know Jesus. She is involved in connecting with Thai people through English teaching, helping build a multi-cultural, multi-skilled team, and revitalising a small local church. Through these endeavours, God in his grace gives many opportunities to pray for people, share the gospel, and partner with local Christians in making disciples where Christ is least known.

The wait is over - we are excited to annouce the date for Women's Weekend Away 2023! Mark it in your calendar the 8th -10th September :D

Due to the uncertainty that still continues, regarding large residential gatherings, the WWA committee has decided to postpone our 2021 weekend away, until 2022.

The committee are excited to announce that Kylie Evans has agreed to be our key note speaker next year, and we are keen to put together a weekend that will be a true comfort, encouragement and strengthening of faith for us all!
