This morning, Councillor Natalie Mort and I joined members from Buddha's Light International Association (BLIA) and BLIA Scouts Kogarah at Claydon Reserve for Clean Up Australia Day 🌏🧤

A big thank you to Wanjing Fang from BLIA for organising this fantastic group effort, in conjunction with Georges River Council Bushcare, to help keep Kogarah Bay clean and beautiful 🌿

As you can see, we collected bags and bags of rubbish, mostly plastics, from the shoreline of the bay. A great reminder of the impact we can make when the community comes together to care for our local environment 🗑️♻️💙
