After an unexpected hiatus last year, our annual Cancer Council Biggest Morning Tea fund-raiser was back in full swing this week - attended by a crowd of 80 excited and enthusiastic locals. Lots of fun, food, and fellowship as well as prizes and trivia. A huge thank you to the organisers and all who attended. A massive $2035 was raised for such a worthy cause so close to many 💛🌻

Instead of watching the Cowboys lose, we gathered as a congregation for a casual social BBQ and accompanying fire pit to keep us warm. Thanks to everyone who came along and weathered the cold. We hope you went home with full bellies and a warm heart ❤️

Kirwan Uniting Church will be able to accommodate even more members of our local community with their new kitchen upgrade, thanks to their successful application in Round 125 of the Gambling Community Benefit Fund.

Their existing kitchen is used throughout the week for Sunday services, seniors groups, young families and community events, and I can’t wait to see the finished product.
