St Phoebe's Day is almost here. Discerning Deacons has advertised us internationally, how exciting. We also have an upgraded presentation system so hope you can join us in person or online to take advantage of the new technology.

Also want to highlight the national webinar presented by Australian Catholics Discerning the Diaconate at 5.30pm WA time - see attached flyer for registration info to receive the link.
There is also an event in Perth 4-5 September with Dr Michelle Connelly RSJ. Although this is not specifically about St Phoebe, it does explore Paul's letter to the Romans which was entrusted to Phoebe by Paul. See flyer for more details.

Thank you God for the beautiful morning which enabled us to walk to the Kirup labyrinth as well as pray there for peace on Hiroshima Day 2026.

We will pray for peace on 6th August, Hiroshima Day, as we have other years. The contemplative practice of the labyrinth will be part of our prayer. Join us in person between 9.30am and 2pm for part of all of the day or join us via Zoom. Contact Deborah if you want the Zoom link 0419939864.

A wonderful morning Remembering Irene McCormack and the work of the Josephites in Peru, being carried on by committed laywomen. Thanks to Shendelle for organising our presenters - Sr Pauline locally, Mark Raue in Sydney and Maricarmen in Peru - a truly international cast. We were joined online by groups in Donnybrook and Esperance as well as others from Brunswick and Albany.
