Thank you church community for your generosity!

This photo represents just ONE week of donations towards our Bag of Hope Winter Appeal from ONE campus - a beautiful reminder of the collective practical difference simple acts of generosity can make for our neighbours doing it tough this winter.

Thank you for helping us share the love of Jesus in such tangible, hope-filled ways through every bag, item and donation given.

This Sunday is the final chance to contribute to the Winter Appeal, so if you’ve been meaning to donate, we’d love you to join in. Together, we can continue bringing dignity and hope to people in need this season.

Join us this Sunday as we dive back into our James series, Living Faith, looking at James 3:1–12 and the power of our words.

James reminds us that the tongue may be small, but it has the power to build up, tear down, bless and shape lives. There’s wisdom, challenge and encouragement for all of us in this passage.

We’d love to see you at church on Sunday!

Last weekend a small group from church headed away to the beautiful Blue Mountains for one of our small group prayer retreats.

Time to stop, time to be still, time to contemplate God's glory in creation, time to come before Him & time to hear Him through meditating on His word.

In the midst of busy lives & particularly reflecting on Psalm 19 & Psalm 46 the overwhelming takeaway was simple but powerful: we all need to make space for peace, stillness and time with God to hear His voice.

Our next Prayer Retreat is happening on 29 August - keep an eye out for the invite!

This Sunday we’re taking a break from our James series to celebrate Pentecost Sunday.

From Good Friday to Easter Sunday, Ascension Day to Pentecost, we remember the story of Jesus’ death, resurrection, ascension and the coming of the Holy Spirit. Pentecost marks the day God poured out His Spirit on His people, empowering the church to boldly live for Jesus and love like Jesus.

“And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit...” - Romans 5:5

Join us this Sunday as we celebrate the gift and power of the Holy Spirit together. We’d love to see you there!

On most Tuesday nights, these chairs (& others around our campuses) are filled with people exploring the big questions of life, faith and meaning at Alpha.

Over 10 weeks, Alpha creates space to unpack the basics of the Christian faith together - no pressure, no judgement, just open conversation over some good food. It’s a place where people can share thoughts and ideas honestly, ask questions freely, listen to others and contribute their own perspective in a friendly and welcoming environment.

There’s no obligation to say anything, and there’s nothing you can’t say (seriously).

Please join us in praying for everyone coming along to Alpha - and not just at The Bridge Church, but at Alpha courses happening all around the world - that people would feel welcomed, heard, challenged and ultimately encounter Jesus.

Forty days after His resurrection, Jesus ascended to Heaven - exalted, enthroned, reigning in glory.

Today we celebrate the ascended King Jesus: victorious over sin and death, reigning at the Father’s right hand, with us until the end of the age, and worthy of all praise.

What would it look like to help lead a community where people encounter Jesus, live for Him and love like Him?

We’re praying for the right person to join our team as a Campus Pastor at The Bridge Church.

This is more than a just a role - it’s an opportunity to lead a campus team, shepherd congregations, teach and disciple God’s people with purpose, love and humility, and to see lives shaped by Jesus. We’re looking for an experienced, theologically trained pastor who loves the local church, leads relationally, and is eager to help build a gospel-shaped community.

If that’s you (or someone you know), Find out more via this link https://thebridgechurch.org.au/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/2026-Role-Advertisement-Campus-Pastor.pdf.
We’d love to hear from you.
