"I want to honour the Lord. Jesus is the Lord who loved us and gave himself for us. I want to be faithful.

So I ask people to pray for wisdom and courage. When I say courage, what I mean is that I wouldn't have the fear of humans, that I would have the fear of God.

We don't have anything to fear from the unbelieving world because the worst they can do is put you to death.

I want to treasure Christ more than my own reputation or anything else.

When I speak to the media, I want to tell them what the Bible says, why it says it, why it's trustworthy—and then they do the editing."

"We have been praying for you for years."

When Archbishop Kanishka Raffel became a Christian at 21, he told his friend who had given him the Gospels. His friend was pretty happy.

But then something unexpected happened. People at his friend's church said to him: "We have been praying for you for years."

His grandmother had prayed for him before she passed. His friend who became a Christian at 14 had been praying.

"When I got the Word into my hand and God opened my heart, it was in response to the prayers of God's people."

Did it all happen in one day? "Well, it did and it didn't. I'd been in the works for a while."

"As a Buddhist, life was just an endless cycle of birth and death and rebirth. You were never going to get out of it. Circles just go on forever.
But suddenly Jesus is talking about a line that has an end point. A last day.
And I'm thinking... what's the last day? When is it? This is a bit of a problem because I'm kind of counting on at least 530 lives."
